Why Bralettes work great on smaller breasts?
Bralettes are usually wireless bra tops of lace or other light fabrics. Our smaller boobs don’t need a lot of support but a bralette can just give it enough. Still keeping that light feel.

They are just perfect for us Petites.
- they offer light support
- which is fine for smaller boobs
- it does give some support
- surely with removable pads, it will do some lifting
- and shaping as well
- whether it is for a push-up effect
- or supporting sagging breasts
Women wear them as their basic bra style. We love to work in them at home, and lounge in them. Or adding the bralette to our outfit going out.
But as it is with any other bra style, accurate sizing is everything. Wearing a cup that is too big isn’t what we petite want. It just doesn’t feel and look good.

Some bralettes have no lining. A simple solution to prevent nipple see-through is using some nipple pasties. I always have some disposable pasties in my bag for see-through bras or use on my braless days.
